WebFeb 1, 2024 · The Chishui River is the first-level tributary on the right bank of the Yangtze River. The basin (104°44′–106°59′ E and 27°13′–28°50′ N) is a mixed area of typical karst and non-karst landforms with large undulations and few flat plains. WebFlowing for over 400 kilometers, the Chishui runs across three provinces. Rising in Yunnan, it joins the Yangtze River, Asia's longest watercourse, in Sichuan. Most of the tributary, however, is in Guizhou. With no dams along its length, it's the last free-flowing tributary on the upper reaches of the Yangtze.
